Glass Mica Paper Tapes are made from Muscovite / Phlogopite Mica Papers, which consist of high grade reconstituted Mica that is laminated with electrical grade fibre glass cloth and silicone resin. Our Glass Mica Paper Tape has been developed to withstand extreme electrical & thermal overload and high moisture environment. It is ideally suited for cables that are designed to have extended fire survival time. Our range of Glass Mia Paper Tapes is manufactured as per needs and specification of customers and offers the same at industry leading prices.

Application
Our Glass Mica Paper Tape is recommended for the application of high speed helical taping on conventional wrapping equipments. It can be used as primary insulation directly on the copper conductor with the mica paper surface of the tape against the conductor. The number of layers depends upon the design of the cable.

Availability
It is available in width of 6 mm and above and is generally supplied in standard of 200 meter rolls on a 3 inch dia core, with the mica paper surface on the outside of the roll. Variation to the above can be made on special request.

Shelf Life
Cable Tape exhibits no shelf life limitations when stored upto 12 months at 25 deg C temperature and 50% relative humidity.
